FEEDBACK FROM EVENT

The event began timely at 10:00 am with a doctor, representatives of Padup Africa, and a photographer in attendance.

The event began with an icebreaker from Mrs Ashley sharing about hee experience when she began menstruating. Padup Africa representatives also shared self affirming writeups for the children to hold.

The doctor enlightened the children about the following:

1. Taboos around menstruation
2. Symptoms of menstruation
3. How to properly dispose a used pad
4. Abnormal symptoms before, during, and after menstruation
5. Hygiene practices during their menstruation

There was also a question and answer segment.

The program ended with group pictures, videos of selected participants, and sharing of pads, class by class to the students and the female teachers.
